This is a tapestry woven by hand, size 45/55 cm.
Material - wool.
I made it several years ago.
I'd like to sell it and will be glad to hear your appraisal.
Thank you in advance! :fool:

Well how long did it take you to make. How Much did or would the materials cost to remake? Think of a price and double it

Well, It took me about 2 months to make it, including the project,
the wool is also dyed by hand, so it also take a lot of time till the colors
become the same as on the project and the weaving is the longest part! :help:

Well then you need to charge lots and lots and lots of money!!!!!!!!
I really don't know how much textiles sell for, do you sell any of your paintings? Maybe try at that price, but you must at least make sure the materials used are covered in the price so if you every fancy doing it again, you have money in the piggybank.

Thank you Alex! :rep:
I have sold paintings - usually oils, batiks, some acrylics and only one
textile for $500, but it was made from other material and had a large size.
It's uphill work so I haven't made many tapestries - only 4. :help:

2 months work are really long time and needs a lot of patience to make it.
I think only you can decide about the price because you're the author and
you should know the best. :help:

What ever you decide I am sure you will be right. I find it really hard to price my paintings, I feel well its just a hobby I have no training, I have not spent years and years at college or an acadamy, how can I charge lots of money. But a textile is even more difficult to price. I know I know, stick a load of numbers(prices) into a cup and pull one out.......Tee Hee only joking, all though.......it might just work. X

I think it doesn't matter have you been in an art school or haven't been. :yay2:
Talent isn't scholarly it's from birth and we only can develop it.
In my opinion the price of the paintings doesn't have much commonly
with the education of his author. You know lots of famous artists hasn't finished
even high-school! :icon_peace:

I agree, the real artist doesn't need diploma, just paints to draw! :cheer:

This textile is amazing Deco, but I also can't suggest price, I'm sure you'll
do that better than us!
