:cheer: Hi everyone - don't know whether anybody may be interested in this but I saw this on the Daler Rowney site!

"I act as an oil painting commission agent for clients worldwide. Arranging commissions, finding the right artist for the required quality of commission.

You will be experienced in style of specific famous painters; we cover from the 15th to 20th century. The commission work you will undertake will be of Museum quality therefore you will be a highly experienced artist.

If you are interested in taking on commission work in the future please email me your details to liamjacques@hotmail.com

Hopefully I may be able to offer you work over the years to come"

Hope this might help someone - but you bet it's certainly not me :clapping: :clapping:

:clapping: Thanks for posting this up Denise. I would just say that I am a little wary of it, a bit like the email that went round "inviting" artists to exhibit in a wonderful gallery in New York, but there were lots of hitches! :)

I would think that reputable art agents are inundated with artists approaching them, they don't need to advertise for artists :clapping: . If anyone is thinking of making contact, get as much information as possible: ask for details about who this person supplies to, and follow up any names etc that they give! If you needed a plumber, you would find out about the person before you employed them :cheer: so it's worth a bit of research before committing yourself to a complete stranger! H x
