Hi everyone - I just thought some of you might be interested in this. It is an exhibition 'with a difference'.

I think most of you know by now that I live in Spain and I was reading one of the local papers that is published for the english people over here called 'The Costa Blanca News' and I saw a 'write-up' about this so thought I would have a look on the web to see what some of the other entries are.

Anyway I enjoyed looking at the site and thought you might be interested:-

It is a call for entries for accepting art on beer mats (also known as coasters) from artists all over the world for their online gallery and for future exhibitions. You have to use real beer mats and you can either paint, draw, cut, stick, write or doodle on it.

Great link Denise, I could have spent hours looking at them! In an Italian restaurant once, I saw some pizza boxes that had been designed as works of art on the wall. I thought it was a really neat idea to take everyday objects and turn them into artwork! H x
