hi everybody!

I'm new here. i've a question about canson mi-tiente paper, which has 'teeth" on top and underneath it's smooth. So I'm wondering on which side to draw (I use color pencil) and what would be the difference?

Hi CW1980 :santa_cheesy: Welcome to the forums :)
I don't use colour pencils very much, but I've used such paper for other techniques
and I usually draw on the rough surface. Think all depends on what an effect you want to achieve.

But some of the members here are very good at pencil drawings, their suggestions could be of use more
than mine. :)

Hi CW1980,

Welcome to the forums, I have used both sides of this paper, it is as Deco says, it depends on what texture you require. Look forward to seeing some of your work.

Wendy xx
