Thanks, here are two more. They are roughly 30" x 40" and each took some 2.5 hours with a break for drying.

These are nice David. Although you say they took you 2.5 hours but allowing for drying - what medium did you use for these then? You obviously didn't use the computer ! :)

Thanks, guys. These are on unstretched canvas- I took a pencil and made an outline, then I took acrylic paint and laid in the color. After that it was various indistrial markers. Really fast. If it were stretched canvas, would have taken days.

:) Hi again David - You say if it was 'stretched canvas' it would have taken you days - I might be a bit thick B) but I wouldn't have thought that would matter for drying between 'stretched' and 'unstretched' - but who am I to say any different ;) can you please enlighten :)

It is not the drying that takes time but just the traditional approach to creating images/lines on it. It is kind of hard to use industrial markers on a vertical canvas that is on an easel. Few people would do that. So they would labor with a brush to create those images/lines. Also, you would need to hold a brush at a certain angle etc. Here once it is dried, you can turn it every which way and quickly draw lines and turn it every which way.
