Hi everyone - you'll get fed up hearing from me won't you?

For those of you that know or don't know as the case may be I am trying to setup another business called easyletvillas.com and Neo has advised me that I can ask any of you if you have any ideas I could pinch from you.

So if any of you are interested in assisting/helping me please feel free to come up with some design ideas for my new site.

The site address is: http://www.easyletvillas.com - but i haven't done much work yet - only in very early stages.

I need a good logo, website header and possibly a 'background' (i.e. watermark) for the site. I did do one but it is too much like easyJet.com (the flight company). So I have definitely got to stay away from the orange background. Please see attached logos - I think perhaps blues/yellows/white for the overall design - something that catches the eye! Not too 'fussy' - quite simple in design. And.... because of the name - wouldn't mind a villa in the design. Obviously whatever you might come up with will have to be used also on Business Cards and Letter Headed paper.

Anyway - if you would like to assist - please post anything on here.

Hi Denise,

I don't think there is a problem to use orange colour, EasyJet haven't reserved it ,
I suppose Neo_Art had in mind the font and idea.

Two questions:
1. What's the real size of the header?
2. What's the term of this request? I mean when do you need the logo finished?

Hi Neo - no I don't mind you moving this thread.

Deco - I need the logo/header/background finished - like 'yesterday' - but really by Monday if poss or early on next week cos I need to get cracking with it.

The size is about 750 x 150 - but i don't think it matters too much but 'round about this size'

EasyJet do have the 'easy' name for other things too. I looked on their site http://www.easy.com but then I also did a search on 'easy' apart from easyJet and on the net there were quite a few that started with 'easy' that were not easyJets like easylet.org.uk, easylet.i.e. easylet-uk.com and easyletuk.net to name just a few!! so I thought our name would be OK cos Stelios is not suing them!! So I thought if we got rid of the Orange it wouldn't even look like EasyJet - if you know what I mean. I just don't want to be seen as though we are trying to 'pass off' under his 'easy' name and our fonts are different!

I wanted to try to make something for you , but Monday is too soon for me,
cos I'm working on two other headers and other projects at the moment and
have plans for the weekend, but if you still need a logo for the next week ...

Just to confirm , I'm already working on the logo, will post it tomorrow to see
if you like it and if yes, we'll think about the header design.

Forgot to ask is this going to be the slogan: "The people's choice for rentals"?
or this is just an example?

This is the project I made for you in the colours you wanted - yellow and blue.
Of course they can be changed, depending on the site design.

It's my interpretation of the site title - Sunny Spain and villas

On the second variant I've added a light grey shadow, that I think makes
the font better looking.

Hi Deco- sorry i haven't been back to you until now - not feeling very well today and have only just managed to get out of bed. Yes - I see what you mean about the light grey shadow - i didn't notice that yesterday. Can I use this then? I will need two different sizes if that's OK - one for business cards/letterheads and one for the 'header' of the website. Do you mind helping me with these? It is very good of you and I appreciate it very much.
