OK this is the second one I think should go to the exhibition. Would really like your views on this please. It is 102 x 81cm, so quite large. Don't have a title as yet either, so any help on that would also be great.

Fantastic piece it is coming on nicely. Brilliant colour, tone and hues are you going to stick to the blue feel of the painting? :cheer: :) :cheer: :clapping: :manoyes: :manoyes:
I feel it would be an excellent centrepiece for the exhibition.
Are you exhibiting on you own?
Also is there a theme for the exhibition?
Mmm..... Title..... Out of the blue.
Maybe a bit more background as to why you have painted this painting may help with the title of it.
As I have said it is a marvellous piece again.
Clare ;)
Life is for watching and enjoying if that fail paint it!

Wow :) , I must say I'm absolutely impressed by your last paintings! :clapping:
They're full of energy, colours and emotions, just wonderful! :cheer: :manoyes: As for this one I like the idea very much and the way you did both figures and water effect, it's very realistic! Background works very well too!
In my opinion the only things which need a little improvment are his hands, especillly that one in the foreground should be bigger, strongly gripping her!

"Hug in the rainstorm"? definitely goes to exhibition!!! :manoyes:

Rosie - just wonderful. Although I wish I could give you some constructive views - I'm :clapping: cos I haven't got the 'knowhow' - shame on me :) But at least I know what I like.

Title suggestion: Out of the Blue from Clare was the first thing that popped into my head too - sounds good!

perhaps another one - Blue Waters!

this is fantastic Rosie, very deep. Is it my imagination or is it more naturalistic than your normal style?

Ahhhh Rosie, this is another masterpiece. I agree with Deco about the foreground hand, and I'm trying to visualise where the thumb should be....I'm pretty hopeless at figures and drawing anatomy, so forgive me if I'm not seeing it properly!

I love the stormy feel to the background, it's like they are oblivious to their surroundings. Which makes me think of a title: Infinite Love H x

Here is the updated painting. Have changed a few things as you will see! I think it's nearly there now, got to be anyway to dry in time for the exhibition!! Going to try and get it framed too, with a big matt black frame - just waiting for the price :)

Newbie on here Rosie.

I like it that you took the white down which surrounded them,

Blue can be seen as a cold thing, yet with the sea it is so alive, is he saving her?

Still about a bit.

Love Tony B :cheer:
