Hi all,

For a long time we have been trying to get good quality 'canvas prints' of our work to sell as Limited Edition Prints etc. (ebay too)
Some from America were really bad. A major Photo company charges £45 EACH! Lots of printers have a huge 'set up charge'

We decided to do our own

If any artists are interested you can see details at: www.contemporaryart1.com/canvasprints.htm
(if you come via this site we can negotiate discounts hehehe  )

This is a sample, just sold on ebay:

If you are looking to reproduce you stuff, then GO FOR IT GUYS!!!!!
I have been lucky enough to have my work reproduced by Brian, on Canvas Prints, I was very pleased with the quality of the print.
It was just great to see MY Work in Print, also you know when one purchaes a print, the Title and Artist name appears on it, well mine did too. It gave my such a buzz
I know its just an ego thing, and way I digress, the beauty of it is, Brian can produce prints for you at very very affordable prices and one does not have to have a huge order for him to do it. I have been scared off by other companies, they want silly money and expect budding artist to put huge orders in. They don't care about the person, they just want your dosh. Not here you get a personal service, its great..........( shall I shut up now)
We don't stop playing because we get old, we get old because we stop playing.

Hi Brian - just seen this 'thread' and wondered if you could answer one or two questions for me?

1. Do you need original artwork to be able to do a print or can you take a print from a photo sent to you via email?

2. Cos I am in Spain what is the cost of postage and packing?

3. What do you think about having prints of my kind of artwork - it is not your usual scenery, people etc.? Would they make good prints?

4. How much do you charge and what sizes do you do?

5. If you don't want to answer my questions on here could you send me an email with info? You have my email address

Any information you can give would be appreciated.

Brian,

I second Housedoc's Q's. I have been to your website and like what I read but need more info. I also have postage issues ,with me living in the US.
I was also reading there is a difference between the iris and the giclee printing systems and the stain vs. pigment that lays on the canvas. I would love to know more about this process.

thanks,
Shannon

I will answer in detail when I'm back if that's OK ??

Alex can tell you about the quality of the prints...postage is simply what it costs..ie..not much
