Again I prefeer the second, both in colour and its more simple, How about, making the flares more central, they seam to drift from the center, so I feel that if all your spurs came from a central point, it would better, more together. Does this make any sense???? Draw a circle with a compass, keep with the same colours, almost like a Cathrine wheel but tidier, just a few details on the back ground, not too busy.
The first image is to busy for my liking, I prefeer the hot pinks and purples you have used in the second image.
