I've not come accross hexagonal canvas before looks realy cool but I am particulerly interested in alternative canvas shapes. Are they comercialy available or did you make them yourself?

Very cool! :whistling2:

I love these, particularly the swirly forms.

And I think the shape of the canvas adds something to these paintings, they're already great, but it helps bring them out. I would be tempted to play with the hexagons, and turn them upside down and stuff, but that's because I'm fidgety. :)

Hi Hawkwood,
No I didn't make them you can get them from..... http://www.artsupplies.co.uk/ under Shop > Canvas > Stretched Canvas they do triangles too.
http://www.artsuppliesuk.co.uk/index.php/cPath/89_90 this is for ovals and circles.
Glad you like this piece.
Starry I do play with it as it seems to lend itself to it, however people seem to like it in a straight line :)

Cant believe i missed this one, love it.Especially like the way you have done three seperate scenes in the hexagonal shapes, and the shades of that blue are wonderful. It is nice to see something done differently,i am always drawn to the idea of pictures that contain two or three, maybe even four seperate views, but are are still one,if that makes sense. :)

I like it a lot! :)
Reminds me on the windows of the submarine "Nautilus", as you're deeply in the ocean, looking on the blue depth through the windows. Fantastic! :)

Blimey! I seemed to have missed this one too. What a great piece of work. The colours are so beautiful, and I've never seen any work done to that shape before either - always good to see something new and different. Love those colours!
