sorry I will stop playing now and explain myself. this painting is the one that my daughter toppled and although I kinda fixed the canvas weeks ago I had lost my flow. so it has been laying around with two feathers left to paint before it is done. I started the thread with a set time limit to get myself motivated to finish it.
I am now off to paint the last feather so you might even get to see the finished thing tonight :) :thumbup: :) :rolleyes: :) :blush: :yay2: :clap: :wub: :hug: :) :) :) B) :D :sorry: :crazy:

Im probably just being paranoid today :shades: but it will show up all those little errors in the detail (mostly the smaller feathers) and things like the fact that the set of five small feathers at the top are too bright and throw the composition out. the one roughed up looking feather just to the right of the big feathers is compleatly laking in detail. Only the 'beak' and the wing shaped fire have reflected light assossiated with them all of the feathers dont. there is a group of three feathers on the left which were the first ones I did while I was still a little unsure about how I was going to paint them and they look crap. I could go on?

Your probably only saying that because YOU painted it, we would not see those things, is any artist ever truley happy with their own work, we gog in awe of other peoples, but our own....Hey a new forum, see ya
