Hmm ... It's really brilliant work!!! BUT ... looks like photography!
To be honest I'd prefer to buy paintings, which look ... like paintings! :)
Not like photography! ;)

There are really awesome works in this site, I just looked at it.

I think it's wonderfully that people can see arts online and to get in
contact many artists. :)

I've used Liquid Parafin as a medium and it keeps its shine...but takes about 3 weeks to dry....

It looks more like to me that the artist knows how to paint things so they look like they are shining, rather than a gloss on the top. what do you all think?

yeh definatly painted to look shinny rather than a shinny medium or glaze. With the metal stuff it looks like it is all about contrasts, with the bright white right next to the dark grey, and reflections are a must :eusa_think:

Ok if you use lindseed oil in oil painting , what would one suggest in acrylic other than contrast, I recon mine would look like white next to grey. I suppose Icould take an aspaect such as a jug to practice.......would that be infringing on any copy rights?????? If it was not for sale?????????
Oh by the way Neo Art I never did mention your photo you stunning young thing you. X

if you are copying his then yes it would have to be a nonsaleable practice piece. if you were painting an actual jug and trying to achieve the same effect (using his painting as reference) then it would be a still life.
