Hi Stickmaker,
nice to see you managed with adding images to the post.
This stick looks great, you've done excellent job :) :) .
The idea of built-in compass is just amazing for a walking stick, always showing
the right direction :). The details of brass are like usually a masterpiece, suppose it's not very easy
to create them having in mind processing piece of metal needs very special skills

Hi Deco built in compass is a regular feature in some sticks (not my own idea ) .I made all the letters myself , i was a press toolmaker amongst other things before i retired . The housing for the compass was also made by myself out of a material called tufnal. Thanks for your comments , hope you are well Best Regards stickmaker

Hi Stickmaker

I didn't know that the built in compass is a regular feature in some sticks,
see you can always learn something :) anyway think you've made it very well
as well the letters. I bet your relative is really happy with the stick :)
did he/she receive it already or it's done for some special occasion?

Hi Stickmaker :) haven't seen you on forums for a long time so I hope you are well and everything's fine :)

I hope you don't mind me bumping this thread but as some of the other old members you know well visited the forum
I though they probably have not seen this great stick you have made :) and may want to comment your artwork.

Cheers, and hope to see you soon on the forums
