:) Hi everyone thought I would share this piece of artwork I have just finished apart from varnishing it.

Let me know what you think. It is part of my 'Dreams' collection - but not sure whether to just call it Dreams2 - the first one was called Amarillo Dreams. What do you think?

:) I have noticed that you still can't see it that 'close' - so I have also now added a 'close up' !! Hope you can see it a little better?

Hi Denise :)

Nice to see you've managed to find a time to make
the other painting you wanted for your balcony. :)

Few remarks if you don't mind

I see you are going for more detailed works which is
great, shows you develop your style

As always the colours are excellent, just think the background
is a bit chaotic with this light "spots" up and down, it looks
like lines of different colours that suggest sea and sky but are
not as well systematized to re-create a finished look.

Nice approach to the palm trees, I see you tried the dots you
asked me about :) in the color that the palm trees are done
they are somehow lost in the background especially their trunks
as they look like more like flower trunks.
I know my suggestions might not be the right ones for the decorative
style you do your works in but may be of use and I hope you don't
mind a bit of criticism :) as the work does not look finished to me,
just personal opinion.

:) Hi Deco - Hmm... I know what you mean - this was my second attempt! - perhaps I ought to show you the 'unfinished' first attempt that I put aside to go over again at sometime? I think the background now looking at it again is perhaps better than the 'second' attempt?

The 'trunks' are flower trunks - but I suppose I could make them into 'palm' trunks - I never even thought of them being 'palms' but they could be?

What would you suggest to this one?

Sorry to me it looked like you painted palm trees, not flowers :)

the background on the second one is better although it's a
bit pale than the first one where I like more the intense colours
and the flowers again look lost on the background and are positioned
too in the left side of the painting which makes it unbalanced.

Well ... it's up to you which one you prefer and will put on your
terrace :)
