Hi everyone - I know I haven't been around for sometime - but by the looks of it - no one else has either !!

What is everyone up to?

The reason I haven't been around much is because I have moved house and my daughter has also moved back to Spain so been busy looking for properties and then doing the actual moves. So what have you all been doing.

Has anyone got any new artwork to show us? Unfortunately, I haven't had any time for painting. But I know a couple of months or so ago - Deco did two wonderful pieces of artwork for me. But I haven't seen those on here yet? So how about it Deco - when are you going to show the others what a beautiful job you did?

Well ... being not very well recently I didn't have the
time to resize the images and post them, will do it probably soon
when I feel better ...

as for the forum, yes it's again quiet but think it's something that
doesn't depend on one person. If everybody's busy or have something
else to do like you for example then probably no one has got the time
to pop in here

Hi Deco - You still not too well - I am sorry to hear that Hope you are still taking the tablets and you soon feel better. I bet you are fed up of not being well aren't you? I feel for you cos it's not nice when you don't feel 100%

Yes you are right obviously everybody else also has been busy - lets hope they are not too long before they start posting again

Hi again everyone - it is now quite a few weeks since I last posted on here - but again - wondered what everyone was up to? I have been busy myself moving from Tibi to here in La Cala Finestrat near my daughter and grandson. Just moved into a lovely apartment - although I do miss my own 'private swimming pool'. Mind you a lot of people here go down to the beach quite a lot so most times I have an even bigger pool to myself

Hope everyone is alright and not ill or something - so come on - I want to talk to some one !!

Nice to hear you're well and you like the new apartment you
moved to It's good to change places from time to time,
isn't it? - somehow it re-charges your batteries )

As for me ) I'm thinking of visiting Portugal if I have the chance this
summer because it it is my "Places to visit" list I'm finishing a painting
I started many months ago and will post un update to the thread when it's done )

Hope everyone is spending a nice time and enjoy the summer weather
Maybe some of you have already planed their summer holiday
and will visit some new places as well

Hi Deco Glad you are feeling better. Yes the move certainly 'recharged' my batteries You know what I'm like - I like redesigning houses etc and making them look nice )

When do you think you might go to Portugal? Not sure if you remember but I went twice - two years on the trot to redesign a friends villa - doing all the painting of the walls, and their horrible yellow pine furniture and also did about 3/4 pieces of artwork for them. It is a lovely place. Where in Portugal do you think you might go?

When are you going to post the new 'poppy' ones you did for me? I can always post some if you want me to?

Yes, as Deco says where is everyone going for their holidays this year? I don't really get many holidays cos I suppose Ken (my husband) thinks I'm on holiday all the time being here in Spain!!

I remember you mentioned before about the villa in Portugal
that you re-designed - I think it was Diane and John's villa )
I'm still not sure when exactly we will visit Portugal but
probably it will be in the end of summer or early autumn because
now in July and August there are too many tourists and most of
the places are full, so you can hardly book something nice at
a reasonable price

Well I know I promised to post the poppies I painted for you - and I'll do
but I'd be thankful if you have taken some photos of the paintings
in your villa to e-mail me few (cos I more prefer the place where
you wanted to put them in your villa) than this where they are now
you know I made them for a certain place in the villa so would prefer
to have these photos because I want to update my website which
I haven't done it for ages Thanks in advance

Btw I worked the last couple of days on the other painting which I make
for a wedding present and it's already finished - so tommorow I'm going to
take few photos if somebody is interested to see how the finished work looks.

Hi Deco - Yes it was Diane and Johns ) I will email you one from the villa - apparently I only took a couple but they are both of the same shot - which is quite a close up - I did not take one of like the whole lounge bit - but it is a nice photo so will send you it

Hello , I keep looking in but it seems that the people from the forum have found themselves very busy elsewhere . I'd love to see the forum back to its old self , so come on some of you guest visitors , lets see some of your works , I'M SURE that you would enjoy some opinions and suggestions . Hi Stickmaker - good to hear from you hope you are OK What have you been up to? Have you done any more sticks? Hope Mrs Stickmaker is fine too You have obviously noticed that no-one seems to be on the forum lately - as you say it's such a shame isn't it? I know at the moment Deco has some of her family over and is busy taking them around etc. Anyway if you done anything new then we would love to have a look. Any more artwork done ?? Well it is good to hear from you
