Mallard twisty stick

Hi All , See what you think of this :cheer: photo 1) Sawn to shape, drilled for eyes, nostil ? and threaded bar .

2) Showing area of fixing to the shank (stick) underside of beak and handle starting to take shape.

3) Shape progressed some more .

4)showing brass butt plate being glued in , stick has progressed a good way now .

5) Brass butt plate & eyes now glued in & covered kneck ring position marked and now ready to be painted .

Hi All , Here are the last 4 photos to show the finished stick :cheer:
6) Handle varnished and head painted , eyes covered . Showing all parts ready to set and glue .

Hope you don't mind but I just re-aranged
your photos, because you forgot to add them corectly
into text :) think it's looks more clear now :)

The stick looks great :) photos show the whole process,
which I find very interesting :) Think you've done
a geat work :cheer: :)
Did you make that as a present for somebody?

Hi Deco, Thanks very much for the alterations :cheer: . Should i have done the writing and then a photo and repeated the process in order to achieve the same result as youve got ? It's much better like this . I forgot to say that the brass butt plate was also made. thanks for the comments , did i make the stick as a present for somebody ? ---- yes its a birthday present :) . Yes you have to write your post firstly and then to add your photos.
