For how long you've been painting? and what you usually
like painting?
I'm asking because I see you've tried to paint something
really difficult, think as a start it's OK, just the eye line
is too down. Can't comment the technique cos the image is not very
clear

i've been painting in oils on and off for approx 6 years,
Glad you noticed the eye,it was different but i changed it when i shouldn't of really
I'll post another that has to be classed as finnished raelly as it got a bit tatty in storage

achieved very good progress
The second one you posted looks nice, just not sure
if you've got a problem with your camera cos images you
post are a bit blured. The thing with animals if you want
to paint them realistic is that you have to try to manage with the 3D,
ie shades and ligths apply the same way as you draw in pencil
Will look forward to seeing the update on the first one when you finish it

I still can see few mistakes in the anatomy
ie the eyes I pointed in my previous post and
the mug which doesn't look like horse's mug at the mo
Another thing - the background colour, think this blue
it's too raw, just my opinion
