Owl drawing

Hi All , I've done this drawing with a view to maybe copying (pounce) it and maybe with some tuition and a lot of help do a painting of it .What do you think ?. Regards Stickmaker

I like the drawing, just 2 small notes if you don' mind
The position of the owl's head is not correct, on the reference
photo it's 3/4 profile on your drwaing it's full face.
Also on the back where the wing is the shape is a bit different
ie more protuberant.
Think it will become a nice painting in colour, look forward to seeing it

Hi All , Thanks for your interest and comments ladies . I have decided to try and adjust the drawing , but only on the owl's face i copied the original drawing , altered the original and have posted a picture see what you think now . What would you say would it be done in best, oil, acrylic or watercolour ? Regards Stickmaker

I think you've managed with the owl's face,
the difference is obvious, well done
I'd suggest acrylic for this one cos you can
achieve more saturated colours and acrylics dry quicker,
which will give you the possibility to finish the work faster.
Look forward to seeing it done in colour
