Hellooooo
I did this for a Nov. project on Wet canvas. The original photo was daytime , but I decided to try for an evenimg scene, that's why it's a bit dark. I 've since did a few extra touch-ups. Hope everyone is well and getting in the Christmas Spirit. It;s snowing here today, and quite cold. Warmer weather forecast for the next few days, so I'll get my Decorations up outside while it's nice. C&cs Welcome Della

Hi Deedee
Nice to hear you're well I like the collor palette on this one - very unusual but in the same time lovely and warm I'm just not sure about the road, looks a bit unfinished on the foreground. Christmas really isn't so far of your Decorations -------------------- MyPaintings.Info - My web site

Show us a picture of your christmas lights etc outside when you have them done. I have just come back from Dublin and a trip to England and whilst there went to see one of Ken's aunties in Penniston, Sheffield on Sunday and when we left on Sunday night it was blooming thick with snow. Did take a photo or two but the car was moving by the time I thought about it and I haven't looked at the photos but will have a look and if they are worth posting I will post them -------------------- |

Hi deedeee , I like it , the sky looks great, afraid that i'm not into this type of painting yet , i need i bit more time before tackling a landscape . Regards Stickmaker Hi Stickmaker, Thanks for taking time to respond. From what I've seen of your work, I'm sure you would have no trouble with a landcscape. I always use acrylics as it allows me to cover mistakes and make changes without waiting too long for drying. Wouldn't it be fun to have a painting project?? Maybe Neo or Deco could post 1 or 2 Pictures of his/her choice and we could each do our own interpretation of it . We could take 1 month to finish it. I've done this on another site and it's really fun to see all the different versions of the same picture... Just an idea.... Della -------------------- Oldies can still learn new tricks ........... Ladies let's stay on topic
We will open a new thread with some landscape photo/s that's not copyrighted and will add the link here Denise, sorry but I'll remove the pictures because I'm not sure if we have the rights to use them. -------------------- World Galleries | UK Mobile Phone Shop | Shoppingday.us | City Routes - Over 2000 hotels in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland+1600 European hotels | Villarentaloffers - Travel Blog, Hotel Reviews, Travel Journal, Travel Diaries | Photography tips, photo lessons and articles, reviews ... | *New* UK ShoppingTour *New*

Hi Everyone
Thanks for all the nice ,encouraging words.. About the painting project, If we used our own photos ,then there wouldn't be a problem with copywright. we could start a thread where members could send in ref. pics and administration could pick 2 or 3 from them and we could paint 1 or all..
