Hellooooo
I did this for a Nov. project on Wet canvas. The original photo was daytime , but I decided to try for an evenimg scene, that's why it's a bit dark. I 've since did a few extra touch-ups.
Hope everyone is well and getting in the Christmas Spirit. It;s snowing here today, and quite cold. Warmer weather forecast for the next few days, so I'll get my Decorations up outside while it's nice.
C&cs Welcome

Hi Deedee smile.gif

Nice to hear you're well smile.gif
I like the collor palette on this one - very unusual but in the same time
lovely and warm clapping.gif
I'm just not sure about the road, looks a bit unfinished
on the foreground.

Christmas really isn't so far smile.gif Hope we'll see some photos
of your Decorations smile.gif

cheer.gif Hi Deedee - glad to see some more of your artwork. You obviously have been very busy with something or other cos you haven't posted any works recently! Have you been up to something nice? The picture is lovely - love the sky colour rolleyes.gif

Show us a picture of your christmas lights etc outside when you have them done.

I have just come back from Dublin and a trip to England and whilst there went to see one of Ken's aunties in Penniston, Sheffield on Sunday and when we left on Sunday night it was blooming thick with snow. Did take a photo or two but the car was moving by the time I thought about it and I haven't looked at the photos but will have a look and if they are worth posting I will post them rolleyes.gif

Hi DEnise Welcome back. cheer.gif I enjoyed the pics of your trip to the Americas,I'm sure you had a wonderful time. Yes, I've been quite busy lately as we are getting ready for our very 1st Arts and Crafts Sale in our Greenhouse A couple of friends are joining in with their crafts, mostly Christmas stuff and some paintings.
I did have time to do this painting ,which needs varnishing and framing. Hope you like it

Hi Stickmaker, Thanks for taking time to respond. From what I've seen of your work, I'm sure you would have no trouble with a landcscape. I always use acrylics as it allows me to cover mistakes and make changes without waiting too long for drying. Wouldn't it be fun to have a painting project?? Maybe Neo or Deco could post 1 or 2 Pictures of his/her choice and we could each do our own interpretation of it .
We could take 1 month to finish it. I've done this on another site and it's really fun to see all the different
versions of the same picture... Just an idea....

cheer.gif Hi Deedee - have posted you a reply on another topic where you attached two of your lovely paintings so please look on that one too rolleyes.gif

This one is lovely too - in fact I think it is one of your best ones biggrin.gif looking at the forefront with the grass and the water looks really 'real'. Love the colour of your sky too with that bit of pinky red in it. Well done biggrin.gif

Don't know if I could take part in your suggestion but would be nice biggrin.gif I could have a look to see if I have any photos of landscape pictures - what do you think?

Hope you take a few pictures of your greenhouse with all the arts and crafts in it - would be nice to see smile.gif

Glad you liked the photos of the 'Americas'.

cheer.gif Will try to add some photos here - perhaps we can vote for one of these to do - albeit seascapes/beaches instead of landscapes? If you don't like any of these to try then please can someone else post some.

Ladies let's stay on topic smile.gif

We will open a new thread with some landscape photo/s that's not copyrighted
and will add the link here smile.gif

Denise, sorry but I'll remove the pictures because I'm not sure if we have the rights
to use them. wink.gif

Hi Everyone wub.gif
Thanks for all the nice ,encouraging words.. About the painting project, If we used our own photos ,then there wouldn't be a problem with copywright. we could start a thread where members could send in ref. pics and administration could pick 2 or 3 from them and we could paint 1 or all..
