I recently completed this watermelon painting this weekend. I wanted to experiment with a more looser style. Please let me know what you think.

I don't find this work as much realistic as the other works you posted,
the colours are too overdone, maybe you've used them designedly but I don't think they work for this work ... -------------------- MyPaintings.Info - My web site

Hi Vic, I have become very attached to your fab paintings, so this one is quite different to comment on! I like the looseness, and although it doesn't match the quality of your other pictures, it's still very good!
I think it does us all good to work outside our comfort zones. Generally we revert back to our "normal" style, but can take a bit of something new back with us. Good on you for trying out a new approach. H x -------------------- |
